Plage de Paulilles

In what will probably be their last day of holiday on the south coast, Raph writes some interesting lines, sending a picture, as always.

Near Banyuls, you can see the olive trees and vineyards on the slopes above the cliffs.

There are 3 AOC wines on this land (Banyuls, Collioure and Rivesaltes). The sea is crystal clear and the kids and I spent hours snorkeling among the rocks.

There are lots of fish since this is a protected area. The kids also caught some sea urchins and a baby octopus in the rockpools.

This is a beautiful region with a wonderful climate (a stunning 320 days of sunshine per year).
